I entered the aesthetics industry in 2000 while living in Cold Lake. As I gained more experience in aesthetics I chose to pursue an education in Podology which is the study of the foot and its care, and have since earned my BSc in Podology. I currently own my own salon where I do gel nails, nail art & pedicures, and I specialize in problems of the foot. I believe in nailbasics, I feel that they care about the technician not just about selling products. I have felt great support in this career and would now like to give back and give as much support to my students as I am capable.

In the fall of 2008, my journey with nailbasics began. I successfully completed my training and opened a salon in my home. My goal has been to own my own salon, work my scheduled hours, and have the luxury of raising my two girls, all the while doing something I love. I chose nailbasics for their superior products, one-on-one training, additional classes offered for personal growth, their professionalism, and their promise to provide continued support. It didn't take me long to realize that nailbasics is a branded leader in this industry. Spring of 2011, I became an Education Leader for nailbasics, joining an amazing team of women. I have been able to learn and grow so much, and have had some wonderful experiences. It's very rewarding to mentor and be a part of so many other people's journeys. nailbasics has challenged me and taught me so much about myself. I am strong and confident, and have the greatest job!

I have been in the esthetics industry since the spring of 2008. My education in the industry began in 2007. Upon completion of a program at a private esthetics institute I began my career in the industry at a local spa. After working in the industry of esthetics for over three years, I realized that one of my passions lies in the creation and sculpting of nails. After extensive research and speaking with others, I decided to further my knowledge and enroll at nailbasics and become a Certified Nail Technician. I enrolled in the introductory one-on-one program under the instruction of nailbasics. From that point, I completed my 5-year goal of becoming an Education Leader, and in 2011 I further pursued my dreams and opened my own salon. nailbasics offers an expert program led by an amazing team of leaders in the industry. In my true fashion I continue to further my education and I am currently enrolled in the North American School of Podology to complete my Bachelor of Science in Podology.

Educating for nailbasics is one of the most enjoyable and rewarding experiences for me. The structure of the one on one training, accompanied by the support of nailbasics as a whole has provided a platform of amazing opportunity for those who choose a career in our industry. In my thirteen years of educating with Kathi and the team, I have continued to grow and learn in our industry, following the leader in products and innovation in education. Let our programs and your development help open the doors of success for you!

I have been in the nail industry since March 1999. nailbasics opened their doors in 2000, I am proud to say I have been a loyal customer since their beginning. In 2006 I started to run my business from my home. In my years of being self employed, I have grown as a person and business woman. I chose to educate with nailbasics because of the profound support nailbasics gives to their nail technicians. I look forward to sharing my experiences and knowledge of the nailbasics gel system with others.

I started my career with nailbasics in 2004. I dedicated myself to completing the professional development series to attain my Professional Nail Therapist Certificate. In 2006, I successfully completed the requirements to begin educating with the nailbasics team. I have been actively educating since then, and I continue to expand my knowledge through all opportunities presented to me to enhance my teaching abilities. I was guided and supported throughout my program and I am compelled to give back to the industry that has given me so much. I am proud of the numerous students who have developed into successful Nail Technicians, some who have continued on to complete their Nail Therapist certificate and some who I work side by side with now as fellow Educators.

I was introduced as a client to gel nails in 2002 by a friend and fellow educator. I chose to use the nailbasics line because there are no other products that even compare. I was fortunate to start my nail career in May 2008. Since then, I have been growing my own home-based nail salon, At Nails Edge. My diverse clientele has provided me with the insight into their lives as well as my own. I have been grateful to have shared weddings, births, cries, hugs and laughter with so many of them. I am dedicated to helping you grow and reach your goals, whether you are starting out or are seeking a new direction in your life. The choice to be a Professional Nail Technician is one I have never regretted and I would be there to help you through all stages of your development. The main goals of my one-on-one training are to help you build a support network while teaching you how to be both well-rounded and profitable.
If you are interested in nails and believe you have the passion to continue, I would love to talk with you
